Script to Screen is a film and television series review website founded by a budding, young, aspiring scriptwriter in order to create a database of all the must watches out there and a few to avoid.

No one likes wasting their time trying to find that perfect thing to watch, so here we’ve done the hard work for you.

We’ve used our experience with film and television and our personal thoughts to assess a range of content in terms of what we think really has that added depth, that extra layer and that special touch.

Also, be sure to follow us on Twitter for all of our updates!

Our team currently consists of:

Josh Phillips

A young Bournemouth Uni graduate who thoroughly enjoys his film and gripping television. Complex and creative narratives, intense dramas, sci-fi/superhero blockbusters and dry/dark comedy are the things Josh enjoys most but he appreciates a vast range of genres and styles of film making.

His favourite film? Back to the Future. There’s something about it he’s obsessed with… It can be a touchy subject.

Favourite TV show? Only Fools and Horses. It’s a classic British comedy which cannot be beaten. Also his Dad calls him Rodney.

Tom Hill

Is another scriptwriting graduate from Bournemouth University. His hobbies include going to the gym, swimming and surfing. All three of which he performs to a consistently poor standard.

Tom enjoys inter-weaved narratives and parallel time lines, story arcs that grip you til the end reveal. He is open minded and receptive to new ideas but generally prefers down-to-earth dramas which can relate easily to an audience.

Favourite film – A Knight’s Tale. An absolute classic feel good film. Perfect when you’re feeling a little nostalgic.

Favourite TV series – Too many to call with this one. Would have to throw in Peaky Blinders, GOT, The Walking Dead, The Missing, Benidorm and The Peep Show into the chocolate mixer.
